Hi All,

I’ve just bought my first truck, a 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie 4x2 and I’m very excited with it! This is also my first post in the Forum, which btw has a lot of good information, so congrats to the members and moderators!

I have two questions regarding noise:

1) The first noise I heard when I was driving at 75+ mph (I recorded it in a video) in my first trip with the truck. It was like a friction. I parked and checked if there was something visually wrong with the brakes, but didn’t find any issue. I tested it several times, and was only happening above 75mph. Have you guys heard it? Could it be the active grille shutters?

2) The second noise happens every time I turn on corners. It’s like a “clap” or “click” in the suspension. Sounds weird and kind of uncomfortable.

I really appreciate your feedback! Thanks in advance.

Hi Gus,

We understand why this would be concerning. If you end up going into the dealer for an inspection, let us know. Our team is available via direct message and would be happy to help with the servicing process.
