1st oil change?

Hey guys I have a 19 rebel with 7,000 miles. When will this oil light come on?

You can look in your vehicle info menu and it will tell you where you are at percentage wise on oil life. That being said if you haven’t changed your oil yet I would do it now. It varies but I know my dealer said to do the first oil change about 3-5k miles.

I did mine at 8171 miles, 8% oil life, but I think it is too much, I took a sample to send to a lab to see how much TBN is left.

I did my first one at 1,000 KM and have done 2 more since. I’m at 6,400 KM now. I have severe OCD.
