1st oil change was a PITA!

I never use a wrench, my filters all break loose by hand. when installing new one: drop or so of clean oil on filter gasket face, screw on until gasket touches the engine, then tighten 1full turn by hand and STOP. Never, ever had a filter loosen after this; and ive always done my/our oil changes

That's pretty much as manufacturer recommendations, some say 3/4-1 turn.

right but almost everyone tightens with a wrench, including dealerships...dont know why

I have Fumoto oil valves on all my cars. This RAM definitely needs one. No more sway bar issues.

Nice thing with this is you can connect a hose to it to direct the fill into bottle or whatever, not just a drain pan.
