On a trip out to Colorado 2 years ago, I rented a RAM and fell in love with it! For the past 2 years, I've been trying to figure out how I could make it happen. Well, the stars finally aligned and I was able to pull the trigger!!!!

I traded in my 2006 Tacoma (with 280K miles, 3rd owner) which turned out to be a bitter-sweet moment. What a great truck the Tacoma was but it was time. Excellent decision! 2020 Laramie 1500 4x4 Sport, loving every minute of it. There's a lot to learn still on this truck, having more bells and whistles than the Taco but that's all part of the adventure :)

I had to measure my garage several times to make absolutely sure it would fit, and it does... by a hair.

There are a couple of things I can't seem to find the answers to so I might end up posting some questions. Thanks in advance.

Here are some pics of the new toy, glad to be a part of the forum.

I think you just photoshopped my garage pics onto your color...
Really glad you are enjoying your new truck. Its certainly time after 280K on the Taco... they do last well.

Ridiculous that builders don't give us even an extra foot...

I know, seems like plenty of room at first glance when it's empty. Glad we are able to squeak them in though

Just think if you’d bought the 6’4” bed... like I wanted but couldn’t find...

Funny story, they actually gave me the 6'4" bed originally to test drive and take home. It wasn't until the next day at an empty parking lot, looking at it to realize it was the long bed and It wouldn't fit! almost happened! It took about a week for the dealership to track this one down in a different state that had most of the same features
