Hey guys,
I have a 2019 Ram Limited with no running lights to my 4 pin and no power to the brown wire to my trailer plug. Fuses are all good, I've pulled the rear bumper harness and checked the brown wire at the connector from the truck and i have no juice with the running lights on. I've seen someone on here with a possible broken wire within the harness but i can't find the post.

My car hauler lights all work with the 7 pin but no running lights for a trailer with a 4 pin harness, stops and turn signals work fine. Yes the trailer lights work as i just bought it from a guy who had it hooked up to his truck and witnessed all lights in working order.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I pulled up the wiring diagram for my 19 rebel, for some reason it does not show the 4 pin connections, only the 7 pin.

That's weird theres no 4 pin diagram on there. Most trucks have both 4 and 7 pin connectors at the rear bumper.

So yesterday i double checked my fuses and they work as they should, took off the cap on the F12 fuse and she lit up with the running lights on, so its definitely a broken wire in between the fuse box and the rear connection. I tried to move the harness in different spots all the way down and nothing flickered so it might be a clean break somewhere.

Well thanks for the help from 1 person, i took my truck into the dealer today. They found a corroded wire at the xy225a dash connector. They bypassed the connector for now and my lights work again!!! They charged me an hour of diag and hour labor to make the repairs. It was $386 out the door. Totally worth the money since ive been struggling to find this wire issue. I knew it was either broken or corroded.
