18x9 won't fit?

I just tried to order a set of the new DX4 Recon wheels in 18X9 but the salesman on the phone said that it will not fit the brake calipers on my truck. Is that true? He said since I have factory 20" wheels that the computer is telling them I have to stay with 20". When I take a peek inside my wheel it does look like that I only have about 1" of clearance.

Nevermind. I just found a thread where a guy posted a pic of his stock 18s at the brake calipers. Holy smoke...doesn't look like you could slide a dime in there. What was Ram thinking? That's cutting it too close for comfort. Guess I'm sticking with 20s as bad as I hate to. Was really wanting less wheel and more tire sidewall. Oh well. It's a sacrifice well worth it to have the larger brakes.
