I’m agonizing over this decision. I have 18x9 wheels being delivered today. Discount tire has some nice rebate deals going on for Black Friday that end today, so I need to make my decision. I originally just planned to get 275/70/18 tires since I like the way the stock set up on the rebels with the duratracs look. But I then realized that the stock Rebel wheels are 18x8 not 18x9.
I’ve done so much searching and looking at pictures to see how a 275/70/18 looks on a 18x9 wheel, and some look good and some don’t. I don’t like that stretched bubble looking side wall. So I started considering other sizes. I can’t find much for pictures for a 33x12.5x18 tire on our trucks, plus it appears they are all actually less than 33” tall which is the minimum I want to go. I can get a 33x12.5x18 Arturo trail blade XT for a great deal. I’ve done a lot of research on this tire and the reviews are great. They come in at 32.8” tall. I’ve also considered 285/65/18 and 295/65/18 but the prices are crazy high and the 295 is taller than I want and the 285 is shorter than I want. Any suggestions or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
