Holy smokes!

Subbbbed!

I had a moderate 3 way active setup in my '15 Silverado 2500. Custom picked drivers, Mosconi 6to8v8, and Precision amps.

I'm totally going to nag you on this build if I don't see weekly [read: hourly] updates!

Looks like a nice system. I am curious why the audio control and the pac amp pro?
The audio controls are just regular 4 channel amps. The DSP is the Alpine and I'm running Toslink optical from the PacPro to the DSP. That way the factory stuff is just a source and all eq/xover etc is done by the Alpine.

Just finished an install on my car audio. Went JL all the way with 5 1/2 separates in my front door/dash, 6 x 9’s in my rear doors, 10” sub and custom box under my rear seat and JL RD amp. Your set up looks awesome and great install! Keep the updates coming!
Thanks! The sub amp is a RD500/1 going to a TW5 eventually.

Curious to see 12.1 removal and AmpPro install. I have my whole previous setup ready to go, just been apprehensive about tearing into the brand new truck!

The screen was super easy. There are some pictures here people have posted but it's just two screws at the very top under the little rubber mat and start lightly pulling in the bottom left corner to release the clips and just move your hands up as they release.

Here is my install under the rear seats. I made the enclosure for enough air volume and it fits snug. Didn’t mount it as I wanted to be able to get to my floor mats and clean the carpet around. The amp I mounted in the front side.

One step closer. I'm having issues with the PAC adapter so Crutchfield is sending me a new. Hope to start wrapping up Saturday. 20190704_123207.jpg 20190704_142005.jpg

Finally finished.

In total, the full install is:

Audiofrog GS10 Tweeters
Audiofrog GS40 Midranges
Audiofrog GS690 Midbass
Audiofrog GS42 Center
Morel Maximo 69 Rears
JL 13TW5v2 Subwoofer

3 x Audio Control ACM-4.300 Amplifiers
JL RD500/1 Sub Amplifier
Alpine PXE-0850S DSP

PAC AP4-CH41 Factory Radio Integration Adapter

KnuKoncepts Wiring/Connectors/Sound Dampening

The only current issues are my USB connections are having problems. I'm working with PAC to figure out why.

BD is the ANC still usable> anything else not work?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

As far as it seems there is no need to remove the ANC or put resistors on the amp when using the PAC. Just make sure to leave the white harness in the amp (the one with power and can bus)

Be careful with the knukoncepts wiring. It is copper clad aluminum and not solid copper. I melted it in my last car. The fuse did not protect the wiring because the fuse was rated correctly for the amps I was running but thier 0 guage wire was not able to handle it and melted down. Thank God there was no fire.

You're right that some of their wire is CCA. This is why I didn't go with the bassiks or FCA but their Fleks cable which is actually OFC not CCA. It's a good thing you point this out to make sure people look at the type of wire not just the AWG.
