1500 Icon 1.5 rear spring

Looking for some feedback on the Icon 1.5 Rear spring. More just looking for measurements. Center hub to fender lip mainly.

I added these a rough country 3.5” strut lift. My truck unfortunately has the ram lean that the dealer said is normal. Measurements are from the ground to fender lip. Added 1” spacer to fix the lean on mine. Icons have been on one month ride is great but I recommend using some coil sleeves. They are noisy over pumps.

What size tires you running? Inch and a half lower on the drivers side rear compared to passenger side rear?

Tires are Wildpeak AT3W LT275/65r20. Lean was there before the lift and dealer said normal due to gas tank. Previous ram did the same just not as much. Spacer added to the lift coil on driver side brought her to level. Measurements now are 42.25” on all corners. If your ram doesn’t have a lean you will love the coils.

The lean is minor on mine. Currently measure 41 inches in the rear with 35s. Not sure I'd gain as much lift as I'd like with the Icon spring comparing your measurements.

Pre lift I was 39 passenger rear and 38 driver rear. Is yours a rebel or have the off road package? If yes you won’t get the lift out of them I did.

Yeah with ORP you are already 1” higher so you will not see much from the springs.

Ya. Just looking to maybe get a little rake back or at least an improved rear spring for loads when I throw a sled or 2 on the back of the truck. Also debating bags

Timbergrove bags work really well. And they offer various spacers if you decided to lift it.

Sdtruck springs offer springs for increased capaciity.

Dobinsons is another option. The rear springs provide a 2” lift, and you can get them into two weight ratings in the US (three in their native Australia). I have the heavier springs, to support my rack, rooftop tent, etc.

Got yah, I have factory flairs; and it's a Laramie, but i'm at 36" front and 38" rear. Just trying to plot mentally is all. Thank you for the fast reply, I'm thinking about staying with a 33"-34" tire as I tow the fun cars around and dont wanna murder that ability, but 35s look really good as well. If I go 35s, I am leaning to the 3.5" but the other way i'm looking at a 2" level for the front adding an inch out back either way as i want some rake in it.

If you are using the factory rubber isolators on top, there should be no reason a coil spring is "noisy" over bumps, unless something isn't torqued properly

My factory springs had a rubber bushing between the coil and the frame but no isolator on th e coil itself. This bushing was installed between the icons and the frame. The icons being dual rate are much closer Together at the top. When going over bumps, they compress and clang together. It is a known common problem.

That's just a poor design. A dual rate could shouldn't do that.

I was reading a review on progressive springs, and they said theirs were noisy too.
