does anybody know if a 12 volt outlet for an electric ice chest can be added to the empty hole behind the front console ?

I added one in the back of the center console.
Fused wire from the external PDC to a DIY carbon fiber panel with 12 volt and usb charging ports.

looks different from mine ,I already have a hole with a cover, just wandering if the wires for a 12 volt outlet be behind there somewhere!

yes you can splice it off one of the 12v ciggy plugs in the front. but i don't recommend that because i don't recommend messing with OE wiring. Also, 12v sockets and 12v fridge ciggy plugs are not 100% secure, even when driving on pavement. It WILL fall off.

Run a pair of power and ground cable via firewall with a blue sea circuit breaker near the battery, install a blue sea fuse block with ground, cut the supplied 12v ciggy plug and use #10 ring terminals to secure to fuse block with ground, and now you have secure connection at all times.

I would run a dedicated fused wire from the power distribution center.
