I've been having this issue for years, once every 3 months, but lately it's been getting more frequent, 5 times a week.

The radio will freeze, there is a loud pop over the speakers and the radio will restart. When it restarts the display is missing the top and bottom toolbars which makes the image float up and down until the vehicle is restarted.

Brought it into the dealership and after 2 days they did not find anything wrong, charged me $230 and told me to "drive and monitor".

Has anyone else run into this issue before?

@RamCares can you please message me to see what my options are?

Been there and was able to get mine fixed with the following information I received from my dealer. I disconnected my phone completely including Carplay, confirmed I had the most up to date phone software, Then connected the truck to my home wifi as primary so that it could get any and all updates. I waited a couple days to reconnect my phone as I wanted to provide the truck enough time to do its thing. Since then I have not had any issues.

There is a thread that talks about this well known issue. The dealership can’t fix the issue with the system, don’t waste any more money.
There is supposed to be to be an update in the first quarter of this year. There are many RAM drivers waiting for the update and see if the issue actually gets resolved.
The thread is titled:

Uconnect not loading properly
