12 inch uconnect nav screen dim

When I go into settings in display, it has a manual and auto and then it has headlight display on (which is greyed out all the time) and headlight display off (i can change that) i am surprised that there is no auto dim at night

Headlight on display brightness requires headlights to be on to make that adjustment.

Same problem. Headlights are on and display is super bright. Headlights on is grayed out.

Well I figured it out. Dial down low next to steering wheel was on full bright. One click down and now everything is working correctly.
