I have the factory 20x9 wheels +19 offset, no wheel spacers. I'm wanting to put a 12.50 width tire on them. I know they'll fit the wheels fine. My concern is will they rub the upper ball joint in the front?

I tried to get a tape measure in there but it's hard to do. My best eyeball with the tape made it look like I've got 7/8" of clearance with the stock 275/55s.

Since the 275/55s are 11" section width, then in theory a 12.50" tire would put 3/4" more sidewall inside toward the ball joint, leaving me 1/8" of clearance. So, it would work but it would be almost risky.

Has anybody here put a 12.50 width tire on the stock 20x9 wheels with no wheel spacers? What was the result?

I don’t believe they will fit without rubbing at stock height.

It’s according to what tire you go with , some mt’s are a tad over 35 inches while most AT’s are around 34.5 , I just installed these Thunderer ATr 35-12.50-20 on stock BIGHORN wheels, they do not rub the UCA’s . Hope this helps

I have 295 60 20 ProComp AT tires on stock wheels with a bilstein leveling kit.
I get some rubbing of the wheel well at full reverse, but that's the only time.

do you rub on the liner?

For what it is worth. I have 20x9 +18 wheels with 33's and I have no rubbing issues. Not stock wheels though.
