12.1 screen

I knows it’s been discussed previously about buying all new parts but I couldn’t find one in regards to buying a used 12.1 screen. I found a 12.1 screen with all the trim etc out of a 21 model I have a 19 with the 8.4 with nav. Do I still need to program it etc??

8.4" to 12.1" screen replacement

I would like to switch from the 8.4 to the 12.1 what do I need to do to make it work.
