110 v outlet

has anyone added a 110v outlet to there truck that didn't come with one? how do you know if you have the invertor or not?

If it's not on your build sheet there's no inverter. I've used a portable one for years that just sits in a cup holder and plugs into the 12v outlet for the rare occasions I need 110v inside the truck. For heavier loads to power tools (which the stock one's can't handle anyway) I have a larger 2500w modified sine wave inverter I connect to the battery terminals.
