Guess when I drop it off on monday I will have the bumper painted to color match the rest of the truck... I wonder if that would look weird if I left the rear bumper chrome and just did the front on a black longhorn

8 inch scratch thru the paint and a crease dent on the fender... but over all tiny.. but to make it right the wheel trim fender and little piece under the head light will have to be pulled to make it right.. if it happens after 30k I would just leave it.. but on my brand new toy... nope..
I'm having a beer to console myself

It bothers me that I'm doing the repair. But only because my OCD demands it.. the funny thing is if it was me who damaged it. I would just let it go

After a couple of beers and candied bacon.. iv decided a 6 inch lift and a set of 35 inch tires will make it all better. Now how to brake it to the wife.. she was already unsettled by the borla exhaust and volant CAI..
Hellwig sway bar and dawn chrome line side panel trim on amazon will serfice for anger purchases between rounds

This has to be one of the funniest posts I have seen, awesome.

I had someone rub my whole back bumper last sunday from one end to the next, it was weird.

No idea how it happened because my flowmaster exhaust tips stick out more than usual and they didn't looked touched.

The good news was the scratches were not through the paint so most but not all buffed out.

I have an all black Laramie so everything is noticeable, especially the bumpers.

I know what you are saying about OCD, I put new bead locks on my new truck and had the rim rings painted black, I hit a curb the first week at a starbucks! BAD I had it pulled off and painted ASAP as it bothered the CRAP out of me!

you and me both! Someone bumped into my bumper and left a much smaller, but deeper scratch. People really do suck sometimes. Hope she gets fixed up and looks good as new!

First one hurts the most. I bought a hood protector for mine less than a week after purchase. Went to install it, freakin ding in the hood, which is now under the guard:confused:

Most definitely true. The first thing I found on my previous truck (2017 Rebel) was a big rock chip right above the headlight. The got progressively easier from there.

I've had my 2020 Laramie since Halloween. Still no chips, scratches, dings, etc. But winter is now here and I need to drive it on roads with gravel and de-icer that the state and county use on the roads for traction. It's gonna hurt, but it's a truck. I didn't buy it to be a show car, so I'm gonna try and ignore what I can for now. I won't find most of the damage until the first time I wash it next spring.

Sorry to see your new truck got a scratch, but glad to hear it's getting fixed.
