I have a 2019 1500 Longhorn with ORP. My front right shock blew a month ago. Dealership said 9/22 before they could order new ones due to back order. They called today and said 10/25 was the new back order date. Obviously I don’t want to ride in a blown shock for another month (didn’t want to ride on it the last 4 weeks).
Question is can I just put on the standard shocks all the way around and keep the ride height of the ORP? Not sure they would do it anyway but open to it since I don’t tow often. Just need it fixed and trying to work around not being able to get a replacement. Mentioned aftermarket and dealership said that wasn’t an option if it was done under warranty. Truck has 13,000 miles.
