A few months ago, I had the underside of my 2019 Dodge Ram 5th Gen Limited with a 5.7 HEMI engine and 3.92 axle sprayed with a thick, black grease undercoating for protection. Shortly after, I noticed a cranking sound when turning left or right, seemingly coming from the rear of the vehicle. I took it to a different shop, and after some troubleshooting, they determined the noise was caused by a loose skid plate for the gas tank. They tightened it along with a few other bolts, including one cab bolt they said was loose and tightened further. This resolved the issue at the time. However, about three weeks to a month later, I’m now hearing a clunking noise from the front of the truck, mostly on the passenger side (though I’m not entirely sure), and I’m also feeling a mild vibration in my feet when I press the gas pedal. It’s subtle but noticeable enough to make me wonder if something is wrong or if I’m overthinking it. Has anyone experienced something similar, or can anyone offer advice on what might be causing this?
