I just leased a 2025 with the V6 engine. I had a 2021 5.7 V8 previously and hope I didn't make a mistake. The night I drove it off the lot, I noticed that when I would come to a stop and the auto start/stop would engage, a loud squeal would occur when I took my foot off the brake to re-engage...
This started with my battery abruptly dying at a friends house.
I jumped my truck, and got a CEL and it wouldn't shift out of first gear.
I decided to park it, borrow a car and go get another battery.
With a new battery everything was fine, with a lingering CEL but I didn't care as I figured...
