Brown Barn Farm,
Thank you for keeping me company on my Black Sea island.
Repeat after me... Chrome is OK.
So much more beautiful than non color black.

Wow! One of the few proud to admit chrome lovers. You are my hero! Lately, I feel like I am all alone on an island surrounded by a non colored sea of black. The blacking out everything trendy thing drives me bats*** crazy for some reason.
I just don't get the love of this trend, except I have...
You did a great job making your truck your own. Very, very nice! I love that a few us out here can still modify the exterior looks without necessarily giving in to the all blacked out look.

Exactly. I enjoy contrast and being able to see body lines. It's my preference just like the blacked out crowd have theirs. I just ordered a $71k, chrome laden, luxury loaded Longhorn cruiser, and it will always proudly wear plenty of chrome.

I just ordered a loaded 2020 Patriot Blue Longhorn, but if they hadn't discontinued the Rugged Brown, I would have chose that color. My ultimate color combo was the two tone Rugged Brown with Walnut Brown down low.

I agree with you on the what ifs back in the 70s, and also that everybody is entitled to their own opinions, vision of beauty, likes and dislikes. I didn't mean to say that anybody blacking out their vehicles didn't have a right to do that, however, in my opinion, a vehicle that is blacked out...
I just cannot wrap my head around why virtually everybody these days hates chrome so much. This blacking out everything trend seems to have gripped automotive enthusiasts like a disease. I'm getting older in my mid 50s now, but I thank God, this wasn't trendy back in the beautiful classic muscle...
Will 2022 models do it for me? If I'm here on late 2021, and still hear you guys bitching about this and that, then I probably will keep driving my Durango. The thing has been real good with some watrenties.

Please OP here. .
Let's get back to if FCA can possibly get to a point where they care about quality control, fixing what is wrong and really caring.
Can they change their course, or will it take Much time?

Are the Lifters in the 6.4 Hemi any different? Considering that engine and it's rougher ride now in a 2500. The 2500 is almost as sweet on the inside And with the right 20 inch wheels, looks great!
Who knows...

Great Mopar stories to me, and I have to admit I took advantage of my warranties coming to me through my aftermarket warrenty! I will not purchase a vehicle without the extended warranty.

I am glad this thread has exposed some emotions.
I am not committed yet, possibly waiting for my 6'4" Rambox and MFT to come about, however, the responses coming through are Awesome! You all make lots of great points for all of us to think about.

Hi steveved,
Thank you for your opinion.
I do appreciate it, and then have my own.
RAM doesn't even offer my bed with Rambox, MFT, and two tone first of all.
Secondly, I will wait until some of these complaints dial down.
When I was researching my 2014 Durango, I thought I was in for a Lot of...
I think that's great, and I'm certain quite a great number of 1500 owners have had very good experiences. The thing that keeps me rolling my eyeballs and saying here we go again Chrysler is mostly what I'm reading in this forum. The good part is I realize that in a forum as such, you are...
