The HEMI V8 Is Back: 2026 Ram 1500 Brings Power and Choice

Yeah for bringing back the Hemi. Boooo, for ET. Booo for ugly badge. :D My 2 cents is it won't really help unless they address the price tag issue.

Is the term "grocery getter" offensive to you

Find it interesting how others get upset on how I use my own stuff. If you have a computer, do you use it to surf the web or write programs? If you're not using it for programing then you are just a lowly "information getter". :ROFLMAO: If you have a stove and not using it to make gourmet...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

What is Fowler First for $1,198? Seems like a dealer BS fee. If my math is right that is about 26% which is very good. I consider 30% to be great. Also, with the new marketing of Employee Pricing, the discounts seem to be less so overall seems like a good deal. Did you tell them about your...

Downside Of Buying From Distant Dealer

Disadvantage??? Driving 250 miles to find they sold the truck or it had paint chips, scratches or dents. Sure, you can lock it in beforehand, but it wouldn't be the first time a dealer has done something like this especially if the buyer is willing to pay $3K more than your price. You arrive...

Why Does RAM Make Getting Surround Cameras An Ordeal?

Prefer the looks of the Rebel but no need for 4x4. Actually started a thread a few weeks back about purchasing a 4x4 even though it will never be used. My only concern is I do prefer the bench seat for the front. What a dilemma, right???? :D A panoramic sunroof is a definite no go for me.

Why Does RAM Make Getting Surround Cameras An Ordeal?

The advanced safety group and surround camera is a priority and dictates that I will eventually have to get a Laramie when the time comes. Really do wish that feature was available on the BH.

Friday morning coffee thoughts.....Would you buy a 4x4 even if you plan to never use it????

The rainy season is getting close. It can get some crazy rains. Not uncommon for people to pull over on the hyway and wait under a bridge for it to pass.

Friday morning coffee thoughts.....Would you buy a 4x4 even if you plan to never use it????

Yeah, thinking my "wants" of bench seat may be what dictates my choice.

Friday morning coffee thoughts.....Would you buy a 4x4 even if you plan to never use it????

Why bother with the 4x4? Well, the RHO and Rebel both look some much nicer than the Laramie and Big Horn 4x2 models. Even my wife when she sees one on the road and says its sharp, I tell here that is a 4x4 and she says too bad. Plus, dents and scratches on the RHO and Rebel add character as...

    Gas pumping issue

Have read a couple of threads about this but am curious if this still an issue with recent Rams as well?

Anyone opt for the bench seat in the front instead of captain chairs?

With the bench seat, my truck (not a ram) also has a little hiding spot too. Perfect location for a little protection. 😉

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Just my 2 cents. How has the truck been with regards to reliability. Been reading various truck threads and all brands have a variety of issues. If the truck has been reliable, it could be frustrating to get rid of it for a new vehicle which ends up with numerous problems. I have been...

Anyone opt for the bench seat in the front instead of captain chairs?

Ok, I wasn't sure if the bench seat was an outdated concept as you rarely find any at the dealership but it appears others feel the same way as I and prefer the bench seat. Good, was feeling like the odd man out.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Yes, but the scammy dealers know they only need to sell to 1 sucker to make X profit while the honest dealers may need to sell 3-4 vehicles to make X profit.

If calculating the discount, is discounted price BEFORE or AFTER adding the tax/tag and stuff?

Makes sense about finances, but if the dealer adds on 10K worth of BS treatment, I would expect that to affect the percentage.

If calculating the discount, is discounted price BEFORE or AFTER adding the tax/tag and stuff?

Thinking about it that way makes sense to calculate BEFORE. I should have thought of that. :D

If calculating the discount, is discounted price BEFORE or AFTER adding the tax/tag and stuff?

If some are calculating the percentage BEFORE and others AFTER then the data on the board is a bit skewed. Get 25% off BEFORE and 25% off AFTER is a huge difference.

If calculating the discount, is discounted price BEFORE or AFTER adding the tax/tag and stuff?

Correct. If MSRP is 75K and Price before Tax/Tag and such is 58K, that is a decent 23% savings. If MSRP is 75K and Price AFTER Tax/Tag and such is 63K, drops down to 16% savings. If I am shooting for at least 25%, just want to ensure I am following the general rule of thumb for calculating...
