I ended up picking up a switch and hooked everything up to a spare car battery that I had laying around to test the switch wiring before installing everything, and it worked as expected! Will be installing this weekend

I just received my Auxbeam Kit also and wanted to do this same thing. Is that how you ended up wiring the switch and all worked as planned? Which switch did you end up purchasing?

I currently do have them set to the blinker bulbs. You’re probably right about the fogs, unfortunately.

I also tried moving the drl to fogs without any luck, I ended up opting to change them to the amber blinker bulbs. Hoping someone knows why we cannot get them to work. I also posted this in the big alfaobd thread.

So I looked at it again today, the disabling the fog lamp dropout with high beams worked, I was able to switch it back to low beam drl no problem so it doesn’t seem to be a communication error, is there a setting I am missing that is preventing the fog lamps from turning on as DRL’s? TIA

I did exit the truck, I did not lock the doors however, should I just stay in the truck after switching the ignition off? And when I go back into the drl location setting in alfa it says it took the change. Is there some other settings I should check to make sure they did not switch?

Did you ever have a conclusion from your RAM dealer? I just purchased a 2020 with 12,830 miles, drove 45 miles and am experiencing the same issue. Did they end up replacing your transmission? If so any further issues? Thank you!
