The radio cutting in for a few, and then out sounds like it could be a damaged cable or loose connection instead of your headunit being fried..
Pulled this off google:
When a car stereo cuts out and then turns back on: The problem is usually in the wiring. If the display shuts off at the same...
Around 11k miles with the stock duelers 275/55/r20 and honestly, I think the tire compound is pretty good for grip and tread-wear rating is going well SO FAR for a daily street truck occasional sand warrior. My last set of tires were the extreme opposite. like 85lb 35x12.5xR22 Fuel m/t's on 14'...
Hey all,
Just picked up a relatively decent sized toy hauler/ v-nosed enclosed trailer 23'x8.5' for the Ram for future adventures the other weekend, and was shocked at the squat I got from this 2008 Roadmaster R-sport toy hauler when first hooking up without a WD hitch and ball at standard...
post some photos when you put them ko2's on there if you could please, Sharon Needles! I was planning on doing mopar 2" lift with added ORG front springs to ensure no rubbing even when decently loaded down and full lock. I cut up my front wheelwells on last truck fitting 35x12.5x22 on my 14' ram...
Hey Ellisstrong, thanks for the details, that's awesome that it rides smooth like stock til you get into a few pounds of boost around 2500rpm. What boost did you have it set at for 110hp to wheels? 6 - 7lbs?
If you have any video or pics including, a close up on belts, and some parked revving...

Just did a family trip from FL to Rutherfordton, NC with appox. 800lbs payload between passengers, dog, toys, luggage, winch, emerg equip, powerwheels jeep and filled coolers with a big horn 3.92 etorque and was impressed with hand calculated MPG heading there particularly. Did it TFL truck style...
1st winch recovery (for fun) with 1 1/2yr old son and his toy 4x4 jeep (remote controlled and really cool) and suspension flex test + stream crossing on rental cabin property in Rutherfordton, NC. Was an awesome getaway for the weekend.
Aerodynamics.. TFL episode shows eco-diesel Ram owner had this monstrosity cab that he built for better aero, and some other things done to improve MPG. Was interesting!
I did with this tank, I usually do 89 like recommended. I don't notice any difference in motor health or performance. It was actually 30 cents a gallon cheaper not 20.
I live in Panama City, you?
No cargo cam option mentioned anywhere in settings or apps on my 8.4 nav. sadly.
So if a camera were to be wired into cargo cam ports you mentioned that are still present on non-360 view Rams, whats the next step to get the new front camera to show on screen on demand.
Sounds like something...
I thought about rotating 87 and 89 to save about $0.20 a gallon every other tank. Would in theory, keep octane level close to recommended somewhere in the 87.5-88.5 since usually 3 gal left when refilling.
What drivetrain mode are you in for these tests?
dont see if you have the E-locker or...
From what I seen in my ram in FL, it DOES disable start/stop if using recirculate + max fan level(7) with a/c on ONLY.
but not when recirculate is off . Can be fan speed 7 and it will turn off at a light.
the engine will also stop immediately if i bring the fan setting to 6 or lower (not max...
Not bad at all,I'm impressed. You've got a bigger fuel tank, higher end trim so more weight and bigger wheels than my slimmed down Big horn on stock 20's. that weight alone might be the difference.
