I went with factory wire harnesses and bed lights instead of the infotainment system. I started out asking questions about Infotainment but then got pointed in a better direction. Everything you need to know is in this thread...
Finally installed the GT exhaust and also decided to add the Totalflow 5” tips. Love this setup.
If anybody is interested in a stock exhaust near the Chicago area, PM me.
I’m about to bite the bullet and purchase the GT exhaust for my Rebel. I’m having no luck finding it used, and I want a more aggressive sound. From reading all the threads in this forum, this system seems like the best fit for me. Is there any reason (besides $$) to not do this?
For the first time today I noticed a gap at the top of my driver’s rear fender flare. Looks like the top clip is not seated properly and I have no clue how this happened. Any tips on how I can fix this? If I remove the flare are the clips reusable?
So I guess I took it for granted and assumed my ‘22 Rebel would come standard with the tailgate ajar warning light, but I don’t see it anywhere on my build sheet. I’m assuming I’m out of luck here, even with any after market reprogramming?
So, if I get the kit from Infotainment, tap into the upstream wire harness near the bed, and program it with the included OBD programmer, I should be good to go?!
Has anybody installed the Mopar LED bed lights themselves? Watching the video from infotainment I have a few questions. When they pin the wires to the C1 and C7 connectors, there are wires already pinned there from the factory that he just removes. Any ideas on what those wires are for...
Totally agree! Bought my wife’s Acadia Denali there in 2016. Obviously things may have changed since then but they are a high volume dealer and had the best prices by far at the time. No haggle, well below MSRP.
Thanks! I honestly feel a little guilty getting it so quick while so many others have been in limbo for months!
There really is no rhyme or reason to any of this…ordering, build sequence, options, prices, etc….
Thanks! Payload sticker attached.
And yes, ordered on 12/31/21 and arrived at the dealer on 1/28/22. Couldn’t get there until 1/31. Couldn’t believe how quick I got it!
