I have the M/S2 on my 22 in the stock size and after about 10-15k on them, I agree they're not as quiet as the original M/S version, but still very quiet overall. I haven't noticed any poor weather performance out of them either compared to the previous version. For what it's worth, I have the...
Can’t go wrong with Granger or Zeigler. I just got one for my 2022 in August and Zeigler was about $25 cheaper. I had the official contract matched to my vin in my inbox less than an hour after purchase. It showed up on my profile on Ram’s site by the next day.
Purchased the Max Care from Granger last month and am very happy with the experience. Their price was a little under Zeigler for comparison. Less than an hour after paying I had the official contract matched to my VIN in my e-mail.
The bezel below the headlight alone will put you north of $500 once you factor in material and labor.
I'll echo the comments above - any insurance company who raises your rates on a minor no fault claim is not one worth having your business. Even if you do go forward with the claim and shop...
Mine has always been this way as well. Factory radio volume settings are saved, but anything else (factory nav, CarPlay, etc) reset to 15 every power cycle. Our 2020 Grand Cherokee is the exact same way.
Looking for a little help on finding the part number for item #2 in the Ram Air Intake Kit 77072428AF
The description is "J" Nut Mounting Bracket, and it's the one that goes under the rear bracket and attaches to the wiper cowl:
I had a windshield put in by Safelite last week, and one of...
Agreed. On my F150 it wasn't an issue above the windshield, so I didn't think about PPF there when I got my Ram. Now on the Ram, i've got a couple of nice dings up there and regret not coating that section as well. Lesson learned for next time.
PPF is a must. I did it on my wife's Jeep and my Ram both within a day or two of buying each vehicle. I'll never have something again without it on there.
For what it's worth, you can wax/ceramic coat/whatever directly on the PPF once it's applied and had a few days to cure.
Update on mine - tailgate module and body control module were both bad. Both were replaced under warranty this morning. A good experience with Hendrick CDJR in Concord NC if anyone in the area happens to stumble upon this post. I had to leave the truck overnight for initial diagnostics, and...
What does that price include? Depending on how it failed (i.e. if the compressor locked up), there could be metal shavings in the system. The filter (orifice tube) would need to be replaced as well, and in a lot of cases it's integrated into the suction line so you have to replace the entire line.
What are you using to seal it? Mine makes the same noise from the passenger side and gets quieter when I switch from recirc to fresh air. Weighing if it's worth pulling the dash to fix it or not.
Same!
Yeah I’d be all over looking for one if it weren’t a warranty repair. I’m at the mercy of the process at this point. I did do a quick 2 minute search and didn’t find any in stock anywhere.
Not yet as it’s on national back order. My SA was going to try and see if she could locate one at a dealer in stock. I’ll give her a call Monday and see what she was able to find.
Yeah that's what i've been doing each night. Fortunately it's LED so the power draw is low, but still an inconvenience. The only fuse I found in the manual is also connected to the drivetrain control module, so I doubt I could pull that and run with it.
Correct. The tailgate does not function at all. Lock/unlock does not work and the buttons to drop it or open it barn style are not working. The dealer somehow was able to manually open it and got to the module to diagnose and confirm it. They did a “fix” to stop the light from being on while we...
Looking for a little assistance as to if there’s a fuse to disable the LED light built into the tailgate handle. Long story short, my tailgate module is bad and I have no access to the tailgate and the light is staying on constantly. The dealer was able to diagnose it and manually get the gate...
What size? An 18" will ride much different than a 22". Do you have air suspension? That also plays a big role.
I put a set of M/S 2's on my GT back in March and had a hard time getting them balanced correctly. After a couple of serious road force balances, Discount finally got it sorted out...
Likewise! Many a 4 hour trip in my aunt and uncles Mercury Sable wagon to the beach. We dubbed it the "way back" which is a term that's stuck in our family ever since.
The one we rode in did, and they faced backwards. Almost like jump seats on an airplane, but still had seatbelts so it was...
I know you've updated the phone, but have you tried unpairing it completely and repairing it? I've had to do that a couple of times to clear up connectivity issues with carplay.
