I swear I'm not stalking. I just ordered the Magnum Low Pro rack with their stock lights, and a set of rails. On these Rams the front stake pockets are nearly two inches further apart than the rear. This will cause the rails to be out of parallel. I was going to see if they would move the front...

It seems to me that that's the purpose. I don't mind it coming on, and don't see why it is a problem.

Do I understand correctly? When the toggle switch is on, the cargo light works normally. When the switch is off, it doesn't turn on at all?

Sorry to be a pest, Jordan, but how much does that distort the plastic rail cap? I was taking some measurements and noticed that there is a lot of flex in that plastic around the front stake pocket mark.

I don't understand why you don't recommend the dealer, looks like you got a great deal. I don't think number 2 on your list is an issue, I think the lift assist keeps tension off the cables.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know they won't be parallel; the front stake pockets are about an inch further apart than the rear.
