    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

Well....I am happy to say my Ram 1500 is gone. The noise got the best of me and unfortunately RAM was not able to fix it. I traded it in yesterday on a 2500 CTD and couldn't be happier.

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

I have already gone down the arbitration path and failed as FCA came back and said the noise is deemed normal and that it is no way impedes the use of the vehicle and or presents a safety issue. This is why I am considering getting a lawyer to represent my case.

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

Well...here I am back again. To get all up to date. I purchased my truck last July and have had squealing brakes since nearly day 1. The truck has now had 4 visits to the same dealer with the front rotors and pads replaced, back rotors and pads replaced, and then most recently, rear pads...

This is getting to a point where I am shopping for a new truck as I don't see FCA making this a priority and their response to this has been very poor. Basically...deal with it.

Ram, Please assist me with my ongoing brake noise issue. The truck has been in 4 times with all brakes being replaced at this point. The last visit it was said that there is a rear caliper issue but no ETA. The noise is getting to the point of being unbearable as it is louder than ever and...

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

I am with all of you :( I have been to the dealer 4 times, with all brakes being replaced and not only is the squeal still there, it is louder than ever before and happens 100% of the time. The last visit with my dealer said it is a known issue with no ETA to be fixed. I think this is...

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

I commend you on your patience and do agree that this is par for the course when buying a 1st year car. This is now my 3rd - 1st year production and everytime i tell myself I will never do it again :). My frustration purely comes from the significant inconvenience this has caused me with the...

    2019 ram 1500 hood flexing.

There is a fix for the hood issue. Not sure exactly what they do but my dealer kept mine overnight to add some epoxy or something to fix for hood flex.

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

Disc brakes have been in mass production since the 50's which is why it is so surprising in today's world with all the technology that this is even possible. Everytime I hit the brakes I can feel my heart rate rising.

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

It is not a pad issue but actually a rear caliper design issue. This was told to me directly by FCA as they were unable to fix my noisy brakes. The paperwork said it was a known issue and that they are working on a fix and will put out a TSB when ready, ETA unknown. Very very frustrating as I...

Contact FCA and ask them to open a STAR case - they will then work with the dealer directly.

Save your energy and call FCA and open a "Star" case.

    Would you buy it again?

Over the past 4 visits all rotors and pads have been replaced; so I opened a STAR case with Chrysler as they came back and said it is a known issue, and the issue is the rear caliper and that their will be a fix in the future. Very poor experience with Chrysler in how this is being handled as...

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

I have just completed my 4th visit with my dealership with all rotors and pads replaced and it still makes noise. I opened a STAR case with FCA and they came back and said it is a rear caliper issue and that at some point there will be a fix, a future fix. Not sure if that means it is a...

    Would you buy it again?

I am 50/50 on this as I love the truck but have been plagued with brake noise issues. Been to the dealer 4 times now with no fix. I was just told it is a rear caliper design issue and a fix will happen in the "Future". I would love to know their definition of "future"

    2300 Miles - Headlight Out

They said I was SOL. Said it matches other 2019 Rams on the lot. Unfortunate at best

    2300 Miles - Headlight Out

Quick update. 1st time at the dealer they could not replicate the problem . Amazing that when I got home the headlight didn't work. Fast forward many weeks and the truck is back with them now replacing the entire headlight assembly. Should have it back sometime next week as they needed...

Plug N PLay Harness - Brake Controller

Yes, I have towed with my new brake controller. It worked great and as planned. I followed the instructions and never changed anything. From what I know there is no on/off switch but it does turn off after a while.
