You should check with motofab, but I was under the impression the rebel coupdnt tale the 3" lift, in addition to the stock 1".
I went with a 2.5" lift with upper control arms. Can't say I really unerstand the added impact of that .5". I just went with what the specs on the lifts I looked at...
Update - Sorry for the late update. After 5 weeks in and out of the shop, replacement of wheel sensors, etc. The issue was a short in the wiring behind the ABS. All good now.
UGH, 2020 Rebel with 13,000 miles and it's been in the shop for over a week now. They switched out a wheel speed sensor and told me it was fixed, but the lights came back on before I even got out of the dealership parking lot. I am highly annoyed that Ram hasn't seemed to put out a TSB or...
As I mentioned, I was only going about 2 mph while backing up. I think it has more to do with the angle of the pressure than anything. It was right at the curve. That being said, there are no scratches. But it was just dirt.
Keep in mind that a squared off hit to the rear bumper has the hitch...
I don't like the rear bumper on my rebel. I plan on going aftermarket. I just bent my rear bumper turning around while offroad by hitting it against a dirt berm, (I was backing up). The passenger side that wraps around the side was sticking out three inches from the body. I was only going about...
Thanks for this. I just lifted mine and got this result. I was thinking of grinding a little to eliminate this happening, but ultimately am only concerned about any stress it is causing when it hits. Did you grind yours down? or just leave it? and if you just left it, have you noticed any...
The dealership covered the repair. To clarify, apparently the TSB is for 2021 model 1500's, not just the 6.2L TRX. My Rebel is a late model 2020, one of the last to roll off the line before the 2021's. When they ran my VIN, it was on the list they said.
I like the look and the thickness of the bars, but it sits a little low. I think it should be about two inches higher. It blocks the stop light and reverse lights on the back of the cab. I also wish it was set up to run the wiring through it instead of having to wire-tie the wiring to the bars...
2020 Rebel, 3.5 lift in front, 2.5 lift in rear. Decked Drawer system, OEM running boards, Vanguard Bravo Bed bar, 36" light bar facing front, two light pods facing back, Flowmaster Outlaw muffler.
Still to do - hidden front winch, window tint, subwoofer & amp behind/under rear seat. Once I...
Talked to the Dealership. They said to bring it in and if the tear is representative of the TSB, they will take care of it. They said the lift will not cancel the TSB.
From my understanding, they are referring to using their 3.5 inch lift, in additional to the rebel's 1 inch lift. Thus, a total of 4.5. That's not what I have here. I really just have 2.5inch leveling kit with rough country uppers to mitigate any "bad" geometry at my upper ball joint.
I have a rebel, 2.5 rough country in the front, 1.5 RC in the back, so effectively 3.5 & 2.5. Just finished the install and took it out and I'm throwing grease from the front P/S CV. Gonna clean it up and see if the boot tore. If it's just a clamp issue, I'm thinking of going with a worm gear...
