From what I have been told from the Dealership ( so you know it must be true!!! lol) there were many rust issues with the beginning of the 4th gen ram that were corrected in later models
I found a couple of pictures of the truck I traded in, as you can see not really bad underneath but needs some intervention soon but in the side shot you can see the absolute rot, it was
the same spot on both sides, other than that on the topside the truck looked perfect. I had owned the truck...
They are, my truck is the backcountry and has the color matched diamond crystal two tone, these were aftermarket, by stock I was thinking of the Larime on up flares
You have a diamond crystal truck? I did not like the look of my backcountry two tone just straight across these had to be envisioned in my head before I [urchased, may sound silly but would have gotten a different color if I did not know I could get these color matched.
When I traded it in the salesman said that was a common issues on the first of the fourth gen, I got the truck in the second half of 2009 when they switched to 4th gen. now I am scarred lol
Sorry my post may have been confusing, woolwax is fluidfilm but a different brand a little different formulation, I am worried about the overspray that is inevitable from the cloud of aerosoled oil and solvent that gets everywhere
I think they are meant to look factory (the look I was going for), same bump out? When I need new tires (in 4 or 5 years lol, I don't drive this a lot) I will then try to fill them out with more tire if I can, I don't trust spacers right now.
The 2009 I just traded in with under 50k miles was perfect, ran perfect and the paint was still beautiful... except.. the rockers had rotted through and who ever gets it will have a perfect truck once those are replaced. I keep my trucks for a very long time and I do no want to repeat this (For...
I have a 2022 with 335 miles on it that I got 3 months ago, I thought it was an engine clunk, I was actually headed over to these forums to ask about it when I came across this (which actually makes me feel better about it) , maybe it is not the engine but something in the drivetrain links. I...
built it but I just took the sizes I needed except the notch to lowes and they cut it out for me then I just glued and trimmed carpet and made the 2x3 legs it took me maybe an hour
Besides keeping mud and stuff from sitting up on the frame it just makes it look nice and finished, I do not understand why every trim level above a tradesman does not just come with me. Looks like they forgot to add something at the factory without them. Don't try to make too many posts in...
Does not fold, I just cut some MDF and supper 77 spray adhesive the cheapest indoor/outdoor carpet from lowes. then yes put legs in the front, just made a square out of 2x3's and screwed down into them. To put it in just move the seats forward some then put the back in at an angle and the front...
Not what I did today, what i did for the last 2 days. Cat back rough country exhaust. I love it, very very mild at low rpm and the auto start stop does not make a big starting sound like you get with the starter, but sounds sick when stomping on it out on the road. The video does it no justice...
