Mine had a broken manifold bolt that ticked on cold start. It was a pretty easy fix for the shop and covered under warranty just before my warranty ran out. I found it by blowing a shop vac up the exhaust and spraying soapy water around the manifold. Seems like a common problem.

Swapped the cargo lights with led bulbs and it resolved the issue. I’m also going to upload some more pictures of the install for those who had questions about installing theirs.

Swapping to led cargo lamps should cut their draw by 15 watts.

I don’t know what the stock cargo lights use but there are 8 led pods, 6 diodes per panel, each diode is supposed to draw about .18 watts... so .18x6x8 is 8.64 watts. I’m wondering if it’s a can bus issue. I’m going to swap the incandescent cargo lamps. They draw more than the whole led array...

It’s got a rubber seal that goes around the whole bed. We had flood inducing rains this weekend and the bed was bone dry. Can’t speak to the ram box variation but no water whatsoever in mine.

I’ll be swapping the dash, doors and added a sub. Swapping the amp is a no go though. I want to preserve the noise cancellation so I’m stuck with the stock amp. Need to research the ohm at each location so I don’t lose volume. Bed lighting first though, it’s dark back there. :-)

I think these look good for someone just needing to dump a ccw in before entering a gun free zone. I’m still trying to find a rapid deployment option. I’m really impressed with vaultek options for the home. Hopping for a nice car option soon. A barrel down quick deployment option would be awesome.
