picked up a '23 with these tow mirrors. my last truck had caps that were body color. i liked that better than just the black plastic. would like to get white caps to match. having a helluva time finding ones that fit this type of mirror with the light marker on the top. anyone know what to...
This is what i'm doing as well. cheaper and cleaner look IMO. at some point perhaps even the exhaust tips and eventually wheels. but this is a good start.
LOL yep maybe. Ebay is sketchy and wasn't any cheaper after tax, etc.
If Chrysler moved their parts creation to the US, then that'd be good for them. However, the prices would be 3x as much for the same cheap plastic. It's too bad on that front. :(
So I kept looking and did indeed find another post on this forum. Oof. Just to make mention of the part numbers from that post (also for a Laramie, but missing the door emblems):
Ram 1500 DT Genuine Mopar Emblem Blacked Out Hood Badge Left Side 1500 HEMI 5.7L (non-eTorque)

Sort of feel like a jerk here as I've been trying to do my own research before dropping a new post. I've searched the forum and found a few posts speaking to emblems, but I'm searching for a list of part numbers for the blacked out emblems. I have found a few online that I'm pretty sure are...
Just FYI, after the TSB was preformed on my truck in June, I've not had one incident of a stall. And I've not turned auto start/stop off to try to mitigate anything. If you can, try to get that reprogramming TSB performed on your truck. Dealers suck in a way that if a TSB 'disqualifies' your...
mine has finally gone in. they did in fact apply the TSB and do the reprogram. oddly enough the guy said that my truck met all the requirements of said TSB (which is what i told him at drop off). and now my start/stop indicator light also works. so i'm also hoping for a long term success...
called my dealer today about this. waiting on a callback. was told they need to do some research on it, pull it up and really see what it entails. good lord. it says right on TSB what it entails. i'm boggled at why they are boggled. perhaps my expectations of a dealer service are still too...
based on the fact that it's been going on this long for this many different versions of the trucks without so much as a peep from RAM about how to fix this (since seemingly every fix is a guess anyways, and thought i read that some of those fixes didn't actually fix anything), i'd say it might...
not sure if this has already been mentioned, but i typically turn off start/stop right when i start the truck to mitigate any risk of that causing the stalling. i guess it's worked so far. it's never stalled with that off.
how can anyone be truly sure anything on the truck is 'fixed' after the dealer applies any patch or part repair when this particular issue is so inconsistent and sporadic? there's no particular trigger to make this happen that i can tell from what has happened to me nor from what i've read...
when it happened to me it was within minutes of starting the truck from an overnight sit. this morning actually i thought it was going to happen again. the thing with this etorque is i feel like at low speeds it really engine brakes pretty hard. more than what i'm used to. i'm getting used...
absolutely!! i cannot believe that this isn't a bigger deal. mine died on a usually non-busy street. but can you imagine coming from a stoplight to an onramp or any other street with massive traffic? i'm actually surprised no one has been severely rear-ended with this. i'm going to send...
