Welp, had to take the manifold off and get two bolts that snapped out. Had to weld some nuts onto the snapped bolts to back them out. 1 out of 10 stars, I do not recommend unless you want to pay the $3k to the shop.
Doesn't hurt to ask the GM. I just had to drop it off again yesterday, as the glass was on back order. One day in and out, but they didn't charge me a dime, and it too was subbed out to the glass company.
Jesus Christ that's scary. I can't believe they didn't issue a recall for this. I got lucky and had it die while in my driveway, I can't imagine having it die while doing 80MPH at 5:00am on the way to work
Welp, got the truck back today. They replaced the RF hub, changed out the 3rd brake light, and the back window is on back order, so I'll have to take it back in, in about a month to have it replaced. All of it was covered under warranty. I did learn I also have the famous manifold exhaust leak...
I am also going through this. Ram service department told me it should be covered. They also did state that for whatever reason, not all rams are covered for the window crack, and she didn't really understand why either. Here's my thread. Ram Leak
Alright, just got off the phone with the dealership. They confirmed the leak through the 3rd brake light, but I also suffered from the dreaded slider window crack. According to the service department, both would be covered under their respective warranty as my truck is one of the "lucky" ones...
Well, first situation... the tow company hit my deck post with my truck as they were pulling it out so we're not off to a great start 🤦♂️
I know that isn't Ram's fault, I'm just venting lol
Welp, I think I finally fell victim to the dreaded water leak and my RF hub drowned. Truck is dead in the water (Pun intended), and waiting on the tow truck now. I called Ram and they said that it should be considered a "related repair" if it indeed was the 3rd brake light leaking that is still...
I don't have any pics, and there's too much snow right now, but if you skip to 1:15 on this video, it will show you where you can attach the splitter too.
Get a splitter. You can tap into the wires on the other end of the splitter. I was scared to cut into factory wires, so I went this route. You're able to hook it up behind the bumper as well so it's nice and neat. Something like this Amazon.com
Look into getting some aux lights that you can mount to the bumper to give you more light. I got some and it makes a world of difference. Something like this...
No, they are just rim covers from ebay lol

They unscrew really easily. I just need to find a plug for the holes cause it looks goofy without them. I have a friend who has a 3D printer. I may ask her for some help.
