    Turbo Lag: Love Love Love my Limited Eco Diesel. Wife is scared to death because as I was headed up a very steep long driveway at a low speed with the trailer, the engine almost died! She freaked out - said I should have bought the Hemi. I told her it was turbo lag, but privately (dang!)...

    Thanks for all that. I posted photo of the Cat Scale and the door sticker. How will I get the scale operator to allow me to set up the WDH while on the scale? Also I have never disabled the Air Suspension while hooking up the trailer, that sounds like something I should do.

    Just purchased a new ‘20 1500 Limited 2WD , Eco diesel , 8sp, 3.21, air suspension, 22” wheels. - that the dealership consensus was that it would easily handle my 7500# TT (26’ East to West Alta) with Blue Ox Sway Pro WDH. ( cat scaled the TT= 7300# loaded to go) GVW= 13200# My wife is not...

    Here’s the trick I learned: before attaching the bars but after securing the ball, run the jack back down and raise the tongue and hitch to an unnatural position (trial and error here-start low) then try attaching the bars. The higher you raise the trailer with the jack, the easier it will be...
