No, I didn't do anything with the panhard or rear links. Rear links are probably something I should be looking into. I seem to recall some discussion about rear links on this thread: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/clayton-offroad-2-5-jeep-gladiator-springs-on-2020-rebel.24549/
All of the measurements are located here: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/rough-country-3-5-strut-with-clayton-2-5-rear-springs.32214/
Handling is great, compared with stock! I went with the 2.5" Clayton's. Still have a bit of rake.
I installed the 3.5 RC N3 struts with RC forged upper control arms. The ride quality is great! No complaints/issues whatsoever. For the rear lift, I believe the RC kit comes with a 1" rear spacer. I would reccomend looking into the 1.5" Icon rear double rate springs or the 2.5" Clayton Offroad...
Nice! How is the ride quality? I think the nose will settle a bit in a few weeks. What were your final measurements from center of the hub to fender flare?
I recently had the following installed on my truck:
- Rough Country 3.5" strut and Rough country forged upper control arms
- Clayton 2.5" rear springs with RC 0-3 N3 Rear shocks
Before the lift: from the center of the hub to the fender flare I was sitting 22" in the front and 23.5" in the rear...
I am liking them so far, they are more aggressive than I expected but they run good. They seem to be more of a Hybrid Tire in my opinion when compared to the BFG AT, or Nitto Ridge grappler. No complaints about handling so far (even in the rain at highway speeds). They do generate slite road...
I ended up going with the Clayton's and i'm very happy I did! They feel a bit softer than expected when unloaded riding on the 1st/2nd spring rate, but the ride quality is phenomenal.
Before the Clayton's I was sitting at 23.5" from the center of the hub to the fender flare. After installing...
Agreed, I would prefer a touch of rake as well. I called RC and confirmed that it is a 1" spacer in the back and they were not interested in replacing it with a 2" spacer per request. I am leaning towards installing the Clayton 2.5" Jeep Gladiator springs in the rear, but I just dont want an...
I have pretty much settled on running the same RC front struts/UCAs. Can you measure the ride height before and after the lift from the center of the hub to the fender lip on the front and back? I am trying to decide what I want to do for rear lift.
Do you expect the 2" spacer to get you...
Appreciate the pics of the mount. Did the dealer install the RC provided switch in the cab of your truck? Or did they install a different type of OEM switch?
