Just for information purposes.
.3mm is .011”, or basically the width of 2 sheets of paper.
Tolerances will probably be near +.1/-0mm on the wheel, and +0/-.1mm on the hub. They make millions of these, and the tighter the tolerance, the higher the scrap rate.
The wheel bore is not a full...
I have a ‘19 and a buddy has the ‘18. He was asking about a fuse somewhere that powers one of the 7 pin plugs that may not come installed. He thought it was a separate power line for charging an emergency disconnect battery on a car hauler, and may power inside lights on an enclosed trailer...
I honestly don’t know if it was needed, or actually done. I thought the $230 install was a fair price regardless, but they did say that included an alignment. I do not know how much an alignment is on it’s own.
Yes, they are the stock wheels. Including the pic of the leveling kit info. These are spacers that go on top of the strut. Not the preload version. They did cost me $230 to install and re-align.
Kudos to the Yitamotor recommendation. I went that route and saved $180. The 1 1/2” spacers fit my wheels with no modification to the lugs. Leveling kit goes on Friday.
I’m still deciding if I want the black lugnuts. I thought I did, but not minding the chrome for now.
I went with the Yitamotor spacers this time. The Boras were $280, and the Yitas were $99. Exactly the same product. They did go on tight tho. The ID of the spacer goes onto the wheel hub...
I put a 275/60R20 on mine. Got rid of the Bridgestones that came on it. Anything bigger than that starts adding dollar bills pretty quickly. Having the Motofab 2 1/2” leveling kit installed next Friday, and a set of 1 1/2” spacers too.
I bought Boras for a Jeep I had. I plan on getting a set for my Ram soon. They look very similar to the brand you posted about. The 2” spacers are $72.50 each on their website.
We have also purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. It has nearly the same controls as the Ram trucks. We noticed in that vehicle as well, that when the floor vents are on, air also comes out of the side defrost vents. More than what one would expect to since there is an option to have both one anyway...
These are 1.250” BORAs on a JGC. I traded it on the 2019 Ram and will be ordering them again soon. Very pleased that the Ram wheels have pockets to fit the bolts without cutting them, as I did on the Jeep.
