Not to thread jack, but you have 2 e torque trucks, one with 217k miles and the other with 310k miles. Have you had any issues with the e torque systems on either one?
Never really got into the specifics with him. He was one of those guys that always did everything himself. All I know is that you never need to use the compound low in the trans. I got it up to 80+ once and chickened out after that. It had the aerodynamics of a brick and love to wander land to lane.
My late FIL used to restore Cortez motor homes in his spare time. He came across a creampuff cosmetically but the 226/6 was trashed. It was the "industrial" version of the 6. He developed a turbo system for it using an enclosed carb. After toying with it, he got it running very well. The later...
I replaced mine with the black McGard kit....buy once, cry once. They've survived probably 6-7 On's and Off's with no indication of wear, chipping on any other blemishes.
That is one of the variables to your question. What you paid and what the other guy paid can be vastly different; therefore your numbers will be different.
I would assume that the article you read didn't provide which figures they used. Model Name? Optional Equipment? Mileage?
In my case, my...
I had this happen when a local oil change place used an unknown temperature ww fluid (probably water) a hose just popped off one of the fittings ez fix. What I figured out was if you leave the under-hood insulation off, the fluid in the hoses/fittings will thaw quicker. If you are a bit...
I've been taking off and putting on wheels for over 60 years. I've never used a torque wrench and have never had any issues. I just use a common 4-way wrench and tighten in a star pattern by feel. Check after 50 or so miles. I understand the need for an installer to cover their butts and suspect...
I learned a long time ago never to buy a first year model. Yes, the engine has been used in various Jeeps but I'll bet the interface with the rest of the vehicle is business as usual: let the customer be the Beta tester.
My stalk mounted wiper control is: down for off, then 4 or 5 intermittent settings, then constant slow & fast positions. If there is an option in the settings for auto, I lose the intermittent settings and just have the slow & fast ones, correct?
If so, I think I would rather have manual control.
I need my windshield replaced and the replacement place ran my VIN. It came back with a rain sensor option. Never seen any controls for this in the panel or anywhere else. The only thing I have is the auto-dimming inside review mirror, no lane keeping, auto cruise control, etc. Am I missing...
These 8 douchebags need to be tossed out of the Senate. If one were to not know what really happened, you would think that the Israelis unilaterally started and continued the conflict. Never ever believe a word that comes out of the mouth of a damn democratic communist!
Before 11/5, I said that the most dangerous time the US will ever see is the time between Trump's nomination and his inauguration. Between the drones, border wall materials and generally actually trying to sink the US, I probably should by a lottery ticket.
Back in the day when we had rotary dial phones, you could play a joke on someone by telling them they could hear a dirty joke by dialing PRQ-1000.
There was no Q on the dial and some folks would spend quite a bit of time looking for it even though it would be between the P and R.
Have you all noticed that just about everything the Communists accuse the Republicans of doing they have already been guilty of doing that exact thing themselves? I believe it's called projecting.
