Mine had them on the Instrument Cluster display only when I bought it a 2021, then I got a software update and they showed up on the Infotainment Display.
Just FYI, that RC kit doesn't actually fit the Rebel with Air Ride. Call them and ask them about it. I did, and was told they won't honor warrantee if you install it on a Rebel. Also been told by my local shop that RC kit will need some cutting and welding to make it work on a Rebel.
BDS just...
Mine is doing this as well. The dealer won't be able to fix it in my opinion as this is certainly an update coding problem. They'll have to fix it with the next update.
The biggest change for mine was Off Road pages were added to the main Uconnect screen. Until the update I only had them on the Instrument Cluster display. Didn't see anything else completely new.
Don't wanna get into which company is better, which is not, just wanted to keep a running list of kits that will actually fit the 2021 with Air Ride. Did some research today as this came up in conversation in another forum. I had thought the RC 5" Air Ride kit would fit the Rebel. Spoke directly...
For anyone waiting on the BDS Air Ride lift kit for the 21' Reb I spoke with BDS yesterday and they expect to certify 2021' fitment by Mid-year. Possibly sooner. The guy said Covid is slowing them down and they now have several 21' model year test trucks available. Just a matter of doing the...
This is actually normal. Your Uconnect system is getting a firmware update and it takes a Lloooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg time. Sometimes hours, sometimes a day or two. This was told to me from the RAM tech support folks.
Me personally, I wouldn't put anything on a Rebel that doesn't explicitly state fitment with the Rebel trim in the product description or purchase options even if they are showing a Rebel in their photos. The Rocky Road sliders state Ram 1500 with no mention of the Rebel trim and there are...
Or if it'll fit at all with the ORP. There's no clear answer on that and I've got a pretty trustworthy off-road guy in my local shop telling me it'll muck up the CV shaft geometry in the front.
On another note if you have an Air Ride suspension on a 21' there is only one kit claiming certified...
I'm waiting for Expedition One to put out their swing out tire carrier rear bumper for the 21's. I wish they'd hurry, lol. They were supposed to have 19 and newer model stuff out last November but I guess Covid screwed em up.
I'm assuming your 21' doesn't have the Air Suspension? In either case RebelWratih is spot on with the BDS recommendation. In my opinion that's the best quality full lift kit you can put on a Rebel short of going completely one of a kind custom. It's also important to know that when you lift a...
Wait what??? They let you leave Communist Occupied Virginia without papers? ;) :p
I can tease, I lived in Floyd County, VA for years before I defected to the United States.
Yeah I suppose it does break up the lines a bit and make the front end look more visually interesting. Though I wish RAM had offered a color matched theme on that blue paint vs just the Night Edition Black, I would have bought that instead of what I got. I'm not a fan of two tone at all.
Well if anyone is interested and wants to deal with the hassle of a headlight assembly shake and re-bake there's this kit:
