The only connect/disconnect CarPlay issue I’ve experienced was self induced when I was charging a portable battery bank via usb c, then plugged in my iPhone lighting to usb c. It seemed the phone and battery bank were fighting each other for power.

I experienced this issue @30 miles on my way home from the dealer the night I purchased the truck. it was listed in one of my posts labeled the road so far. Basically, they stole the rack from another truck and then gave me the lifetime warranty for free. No issue since.
