I have had similar experience with Pedal Commander that it wasn't working correctly. I initially had an issue that every 20th or so start up I would get a "Service Traction Control” error. Since I had both the Pedal Commander and a DT Tazer my thoughts were it was one of the two and not playing...
I've wanted this function since I bought this truck exactly two years ago. I feel like I was deceived by a name like 'UConnect' would be "connected" (along with the information supplied by the salesperson). I didn't realize until the next day, after purchase, the truck was not connected...
I've had the Tazer DT for about two months. Overall, I am glad I purchased but have had some issues which were communicated to Z Automotive. Firstly, I do not know if this has anything to do with the Tazer DT but I have received an error code of "Service Stability Control" every 15 or so...
Not OEM but another 3rd party option and the install looks pretty straightforward. I already have remote start from the fob, but I miss the iPhone app remote start I had in my prior Chevy. I've thought about adding this so I can also add iPhone remote start from anywhere...
Question regarding the installation. When I plug in the "smaller" cable it does not fit flush like the larger one. The Tazer DT does blink green and red though suggesting it is connected. When I start the truck while I do get some of the options on the "Audio screen" (I haven't fully explored...
I was curious if anyone has had a Viper, Compustar, etc remote start system installed in their 2019. I bought a 1500 with the 8.4 non-nav and I won't say I was mislead when I purchased my truck but I was misled about some of the functionality. I'll take the blame for not entirely doing the...

Yes, the white cap is the diffuser and it pops off (i.e does not twist off). If you have a small trim tool (or flat screw driver) insert it between the diffuser/cap and light assembly and it pops right off. I could barely grasp onto the bulbs with my fingers so I wiggled back and forth and they...
Fyi, for anyone wanting to replace the footwell lights the info in this thread helped immensely. The diffuser does pop off but you'll need a small trim tool. The lightbulbs are a bear to grab onto, but I just wiggled back and forth and they eventually came out.
When you "snapped off" were you able to reattach or did you have to leave the LED exposed?
Btw, thanks for responding so now I know the diffuser can come off.
Did you, or anyone, figure out how to change out the bulbs in the footwell lights? Does the diffuser pop off or do I have to pull out the assembly to access?
Out of curiosity, sounds like you decided to not get the Compustar... if my assumption is correct is there a reason? Didn't like the recurring costs/subscription model? The features weren't great? Something else?
Which options have you found? Viper and Compustar don't have any options for the 2019 Ram on their respective sites. I called a local installer which installs Directed Electronics, and they said they have no options for 2019 Ram until firmware is updated or new products are released. Obviously I...
