Did a FULL speaker swap today with Infinity References. UNBELIEVABLE difference. Also added a bunch of Dynamat Extreme and Noico 150ml CCF to the doors.
Was getting some annoying feedback from the ANC with the new speakers and Borla Exhuast....so I disabled that. SUPER easy. Just pull the 4...
I wish it went up to 50!
could use some more RMS power in my opinion. I feel like without a speaker swap thought pumping in more power will only lead to distortion.
The fact that the OP hasn't responded makes me thing he's trolling us, but I'll bite!
First of all...I have to remind everyone of the old parable: "if it's too loud, you're too old"
If you think it is so terrible, you should have done a better job researching your truck prior to purchasing...
I've never had that luxury to turn the fan speed down. Planning on making an appointment at the dealer once I get back from my next road trip. don't know how long they will need it for...
Great question! Next time I'm done with some city driving i'll drop the rear seat and see if I can feel any radiating heat. I don't see any vents/fans on it so I'm not sure how hot it's really getting.
Stay tuned for more!
I guess "cold enough" is relative. I don't think my truck should be on full speed fan for over an hour and not get the truck to a reasonable temp (70-72) when it's 90 degrees outside. Especially when I have full ceramic tint on the vehicle. I can only imagine what it would be like without the...
Only when I go on long trips to be honest. They always wear harnesses as I don't like using just a collar (too easy to slip out of in panic mode). I agree with @Shots, using the child harness at the top works well, even with the seats folded up!
Hard to tell really. It’s always made a difference in larger sub boxes I’ve had so I’m sure it makes SOME difference. With how small this sub is I doubt it’s detectible without a sound reader.
To all the audio heads on here - yes I know this may not be the perfect way to sound deaden the truck, but it was my first try and I'm not going for a competition style truck here.
Update on the sound deadening/audio upgrade process. Was able to finish my sound deadening and adding poly fill to...
Update on the sound deadening/audio upgrade process. Was able to finish my sound deadening and adding poly fill to the HK sub this weekend. Currently in a heat wave in Boise, ID so it was a struggle.
Materials:
Kilmat 80mil 36sq ft - only used probably 1/2 of the box
Noico 150mil Red Foam 36sq...
Right there with ya! Have two Australian Shepards that I wanted to keep off the leather. Built out two benches so that it can be easily removed, and you can remove just one and still use the drive side fold down seat. Added in some fatigue mat below the carpeting so they are comfortable on long...
My plan is to remove the rear seats and pull back the carpeting to get access to both the rear wall and floor panels up to the front seats. If you search sound deadening (or Dynamat since this is the brand name of what I'm using) you will see a ton of info as to the benefits of the product. My...
