I really, really, really dislike chrome. So much so that I simply am not going to buy a truck with crhome all over it. I thunk it's ugly and looks terrible.
Is there no way to get the night edition in 4x4 off road pack trim in the Limited? I would like projector headlights and cooled seats.
So hike.
Do buiness with people who will value your money as much as you do. Dealers understand 2 things. Money, and force. You have both. Unless they have the exact truck you want, they have ZERO negotiating position.
Precisely what position does a dealer have when they are 6-8k more...
It's the one thing that offs me about Ram in a big way. Look at how chevy / GMC de rate the trail boss / AT4 vs the Z71 or other 4x4. Then look at the Rebel vs whatever comprable 4x4. They know full well what they are doing, and GM for all their faults, is more honest than Ram on the epa.
High 20's?
A rebel eco-D will never get high 20s. From Fuelly, anecdotal, youtube vids, and posts, I think it actually gets around 23 on the highway. Maybe 24-25 at 50-55 mph?
I've done a lot of research here, and on the Rebel, the ECO-D is simply not worth it, IMO. Maybe on another 4x4 trim...

THIS guy gets it. I run 18 psi (ish) in the sand. Imaging 18 PSI in that thing.
I see guys on the beach who have 20's airing down and shake my head. There's not much air volume in those tires.
It's not that - I fully understand what 3.92's and off road trim does. In fact that's precisely what I want in a truck. The opposite would be useless to me. I spend much time in the sand and on mountain fire "roads".
Fuel costs have been low because the party in power was friendly to oil...
I get that. GM (all else I have looked at) downgrades the MPG on the trailboss.
I still like the truck overall, but it reeks of deception. Maybe I am just distrusting, thats how people from appalachia are.
I like the truck, the fuel econ gives me serious pause because much of it's use is...
Impressions - Truck seems bigger and less "nimble" on road than our 2017 1500 quad long bed at work. I have no idea why. The hood or center stack maybe? Seems more "bulky" to drive. The crew cab plays a part in this too, I think. The work truck is super long though. You feel like you need a CDL...
I've taken a lot of data over the last couple days. It seems the single biggest complaint on any of these trucks is fuel econ. I've watched several videos and it seems that rebel diesels are netting 22-23 on average. Some get 25 if they are held to 60mph.
The EPA ratings on these trucks are an...
