I just canceled the service with Att and they also credited me 4 months back for the non working service. Blows my mind that they cant get this **** to work properly...
The radio and phone has been a constant unpleasant & unreliable experience and I 100% blame Uconnect and their ****ty support.
It's always something, one day it's Android Auto issues, next day its Bluetooth wont connect, one day text messages are read on the screen, next day they are not, list...
There is no reset for the 12" other than unplugging the battery, waiting a few minuets and then reconnecting. Unless something has recently changed with an update or something but they don't upgrade these radios much.
I've read several posts on people describing certain button combinations...
Glade you got it back, I'm sure there was a lot involved ripping it all out and putting it back. Go over it all and verify its all in one piece, no creaks or parts put back half assed should be acceptable. I hope they hook you up for all the BS....
Lol, re-entered them yesterday & they were gone this morning... Very weird, removed the phone, re-added, etc...
Just to clarify, my favorites in Android Auto and have no issues, it the trucks "Favorites" for the phone that keep disappearing.
Just wanted to update this, My favorites did disappear strangely like a day or two after I posted that they didn't... Weird, but I re-added them and they have kept so far.
EDIT: They continue to disappear now... Great...
I still have my favorites but I've had to uninstall and reinstall Android auto twice so far to get it working properly. I've had an phone connection error popup on the Uconnect screen (forgot what it said exactly) a few times, connectivity issues (phone popup screen with USB permission always)...
I did the Update on Friday without any issues, took about 35 minuets with a Sandisk Jump drive, no errors or glitches. About 4 hours later I received an email from ram.mopar.com "Welcome to your Monthly Vehicle Health Report", this was a nice surprise & the app also works now so I can view the...
Did you keep the old radio that the dealer said was "Shot"? Never, ever trust the dealer... It is very well possible that the radio just needed a hard reset as the 12" Uconnect's are plagued with issues.
I would have thought the onboard hot-spot/At&t issue would have been a bigger deal so they would designate a new TB but I guess not
Honestly, I don't fully understand this issue. My truck is getting the LTE connection however the hotspot keeps failing.
Its hard for me to understand how some...
I'm going to wait before I do it, I still have questions that need answering.... I also desperately need to know why they are not advertising this update.
I'm looking for everything I can find on TSB 08-095-22, so far just one shi**y post from Ramcare's on another forum... So only everyone that...
Thank you again theRamguy, much appreciated.
Does anyone know how this will get pushed formally from Ram? Will they do an OTA or make people bring the trucks in?
I'd love to know how this isn't a bigger deal & why Ram isn't reaching out to customers and fessing up about the issue.
I expect the entire ownership of this truck will be nothing but Uconnect issues....
Just so I can keep track of Uconnect 12 issue's, how does a battery disconnect make things worse in this case? (not busting balls, I'm generally curious).
Yeah, if your paying for the Guardian services and nothing works then who knows wtf is wrong with it... I will say when I do the reset (battery disconnect) I usually give it a half hour or so.
Let us know if you get it resolved.
Have you see this discussion? If its the same issue, could be related...

First, thank you JimmyDean for supplying the number to call, I just took care of this with ATT, was credited for 3 months and they claim I wont be charged until the issue is resolved.
It pisses me off however that At&t or Ram/Stellantis/Uconnect didn't inform us of the issue to begin with...
