National Dodge/Ram in Jacksonville, NC
Call this morning to make an appointment and they say “Sure, bring it on in.” I asked them what time. “Uhhh, the morning!” Ok buddy.
I show up and they act like they have no idea why I’m there. So I go through the same stuff as my phone call earlier...
Not sure about him, but for me it was underneath the floor mat. All of the carpet underneath was soaked and squishy. I’d post a picture for you but it’s at the dealership getting checked and getting the brake pedal recall fixed at the moment
Currently having the same exact issue. What was the process for getting them to trade in your old one at no cost? Did they attempt to fix it a couple of times or what?
That way I see it, I’ve got 3 years to make up my mind on a warranty. If I plan on keeping the truck after that, I’ll make that decision at that time. But if I’m already having tons of problems out of it by the 3 year mark, it may be time to look at a different truck anyways...
That seems like a pretty good deal to me. However, just remember that two types of people typically trade in brand new vehicles. Those that are fickle and have the money to burn, and those that have a lot of problems and can’t stand it. Hopefully you don’t end up with truck #2. However, if it’s...
Reliability was a big thing for me. I had a Tacoma prior to my Ram solely for the reason that it was the most rock solid, longest lasting truck built today. But after a certain point, I decided the realiability wasn’t worth the trade off I made with interior comforts and ride quality. I did some...

I think I...
I wanted to plastidip my bumpers for the same reason, but decided not to because I found a removal tutorial and there’s a ton of **** to undo and you have to mess with some wiring as well. Ultimately decided not to do it. If you’re more savvy with tools than I am, you may end up doing it but I...
I love how everyone cites the fact that there’s a recall and tries to relate it to build quality. Like what would you prefer them do? Ignore it like Ford did with those cars that were catching fire years ago?
The manufacturer is being responsible and taking one on the chin by coming out and...
I feel like most guys buy 4WD because “it’s just a truck thing.. trucks are just supposed to be 4WD.” I didn’t buy a 4WD because after a no BS assessment I realized I didn’t need it and would never use it.
If any of us truly went off-roading in any serious capacity, you probably wouldn’t buy a...
