I test drove 3 19's. 2 Limited and 1 longhorn, all 1500. All 3 had weak A/C. I've also test driven 2 early production 20's. 1 limited and 1 longhorn, one a 1500 and the other a 2500. Same issues. The A/C was cool at best.
It also bugs me that the passenger vents are so much cooler than the...
Every time I get ready to pull the trigger on a new Ram, I read some new issue with them. I know the a/c has been an ongoing issue, but I would've expected them to at least fix a major flaw like that for 2020. Definitely could be a deal breaker
Good to know.... My coworker bought a 2019 big horn 3 weeks ago, and it's been back to the dealer twice. A/C not blowing cold enough, especially while at idle. He still has the front end popping that they still havent fixed. The truck has also stalled on him once. Production date 6/19
Still researching which new truck to pick up soon. I'm interested in the longhorn 1500, but all the issues and problems they have, has me worried. Has ram gotten around to at least fixing the....
Front end popping
Freezing radio screen
Leaking sunroof
Poor a/c
Key fob recognition

Nice. I'm definitely leaning toward the non air myself. The longhorn I drove without it was also the best riding truck I've ever been in. And I'm coming out of a 2017 Denali with 22's and that god awful magneride suspension. In my opinion, it felt much smoother than the limited with air I also...
Any fellow New Englanders have opinions on differences in ride quality with 2019 longhorn 1500? 20's with air ride vs. 22's with air ride? Or either without air ride. Asking cold weather folks on this one!!
I'm in New Hampshire where it gets pretty damn cold in winter. I'd rather not have a truck that rides rough because it's cold out. Especially with that price tag!
Points well taken..I didnt even think about tire pressure. The dealer didnt have a longhorn with the air ride in stock. After they locate one, I'll have to go back and drive it to see how it feels.
I was kind of disappointed in the ride of the air suspension. The limited felt more tire related than suspension. I dont plan on doing a lift or leveling, so would really prefer the air ride. I'm coming out of a 2017 sierra denali ultimate with major shaking/vibrating issues. When I tested the...
Hello all... I just finished test driving a 2019 longhorn 1500 without air suspension. I also test drove a 2019 limited with air suspension. Both trucks had the 22's. Call me crazy, but the longhorn was a much smoother ride. Now I'm undecided on air suspension option. It was one of the main...
