There will be some leakage but nothing significant. I believe somewhere I read that you can disconnect the line up to 5 times before needing to recharge the nitrogen.
Good luck!

Here is my post from another thread that details my experience with the Revel links and the Daystar leveling kit. Also pics in every ride setting.
Tire/Wheel Dilemma for New Limited...
Everything is still good. I’d say it rides better than before any changes but that could also be due to the grounded feeling it get from the new tires. These beasts weigh 71 lbs/tire. All together I’m very satisfied with the outcome.

So far, I’ve noticed nothing other than the benefits. Not sure to what lengths the shop took to preserve the connection or loss of nitrogen but everything seems to going well. Still taking things easy though. Haven’t been off road.

I guess it’s hard to say where my air ride is set. I can still put the truck on OR1 and OR2. It’s as if the truck has relearned what normal is (probably OR1). I was even able to put it in entry/exit and drive into a parking garage with no worries.

Mainly just didn’t want the tires to stick out from the fenders and didn’t want to run the risk of rubbing. I drive out to oil rigs and didn’t want to run the risk of throwing gravel rocks up and down the side of the truck.

It did. Make sure you and your local shop have a good talk prior and that they understand how and what they’re doing.

The only problem I incurred was accidentally going past level as I guess and checked with the links. I adjusted the links too much and it gave a nose up look and threw a suspension error code. I adjusted the links to a less aggressive length and came very close to level. Unfortunately the ride...
Did not have to. I could be completely wrong but I’m guessing that when you put the vehicle in “jack mode” and then disconnect the battery, you’re good to disconnect the air line. I also read somewhere that you’re good to disconnect up to 5 times before needing the air serviced.

I’m sorry guys. You’re correct on the thread title. My truck does have a leveling kit now. Originally I was just running the Revel leveling links which tricks the computer into letting you drive at faster speeds in OR1 or 2. I’ve since added the Daystar leveling kit and adjusted the links to...
It’s really hard to see but they’re in there.
What took longer than expected was due to the minimal experience they’ve had with the air suspension as a whole. Also took time to guess and check the length of the links to get level. I was able to use the front links only and couldn’t use the...
If you decide to go down the same road:
1. My links are set at 2.25” center to center at the female openings
2. Put vehicle in “Jack Mode” then disconnect battery prior to disconnecting the air line on top of the suspension.
Other than those 2 items, everything else was fairly straight...
I was able to get some pics today after calibrating my speedometer with the Rough Country calibrator. This has been a process but thanks to all on the forum who have posted their trial and errors. Without this info sharing, I would still be sitting stock and thinking about a work around.
