After 3 attempts at the dealership. They were finally able to replicate the steering issue and replaced the steering rack. So far so good.

I was thinking more DYI and cheap. I’ve seen products out there. Just not sure if any of them actually work.

I swear this truck is a magnet for other car doors. Is there a cheap and easy fix that actually works to repair door dings?

Recall did not fix the steering sticking on left curves issue. It’s still happening. Also, now my check engine light is on, so I guess we’ll see what that’s about. Taking the truck back on Tuesday.

The dealer completed the recall today. So after I’ve driven around for a bit, I’ll update the thread if the recall fixed this specific issue.

My truck is in the shop right now. Of course they are telling me they can’t recreate the problem. The 2019 Ram they gave me as a rental is not having the same problem. Idk what to do now.

I was going over 50. I know it’s not lane sense because it’s not installed on my truck. I’m trying to figure out what could be causing the problem.

First, my truck does not have lane sense installed. It’s a Lone Star and I confirmed it’s not installed with the sticker and checking the settings in the truck. What is the hole between the dome light on and off buttons? It looks like a switch should be there, but it’s just a rectangular hole.
