It's not worn out, it just "unseated" (whatever that means, maybe that it came completely out?) and it's apparently easier to just put in a whole new assembly.

If it's the sway bar end links you may be able to get away with just tightening both sides and that should take care of the sound. My dealership tightened them the first time and when the sound came back about 1k miles later they just ordered new links and replaced them. Just an FYI

It was with the front - they torqued them down and the sound went away. I THINK they may be loosening back up though after I put a good bit of weight in the bed (some lumber) so when I go in for the pedal recall (whenever I get around to it) I'm going to ask that they check these end links again.

your truck is slightly off balance when you're going into park. Next time you park in a flat area, put it into neutral and let it roll off the sidewalk or anything you may have slightly leaned up against and THEN put into Park now that it's resting off of anything. You shouldn't have a clunk...

I'm over 2k miles and the smell has definitely gotten weaker and weaker. I can also smell it best when it's coming from the front of the car through the grille.
