I've replaced them when I painted new ones red. There is thick double sided foam tape and tabs that hold it to the tailgate.

I have 6K miles. Run 89. City is 14.5 - 15. Highway is 16 - 17. I am all city driving for my commute though.

I just broke them off. Purchased new ones to install. The small guide pins are tough to not break upon removal.

I finally personalized my Rebel this week. Purchased all new emblems, painted them red/black and finished the install today. I work at a body shop so getting these painted and put on was painless. For those who are curious the front skid plate is a pain to remove without overhauling the bumper...

Just tried this out on my commute home. White Rebel waiting to merge onto my road, window down, looking in my direction. Threw up a peace sign and got a wave back. Rebel Bros.

I work at a body shop. I am planning on doing a satin black in the next few months. Ill post here once I do it. Yes it may chip overtime with rocks but I have an easier route to get it redone than most.
