Have had the same thing in my last 3 vehicles. Turning down the volume is the only answer, which does the job.

I got a set off amazon but they seem to all have the 3M adhesive. I have had them on many vehicles and never had a problem and they never came off as long as its cleaned well before putting them on. OK.. Found the cause.... For the first time in months my wife was in the truck with me. When I went in a store she must have changed the passenger side temp setting bringing the sides out of Sync. I didn't notice it and the passenger side was set to LO so no matter how high I changed my side to...

Its just weird and unlike any vehicle i ever had (have had many). I can set it for a high temp or change it to a high temp and the blower level stays the same (so its loud) just changes to different vents as it reaches temp (top or floor).

I really think the only power knob is the gear selector that will switch to Park if you turn the vehicle off when in Drive.

I also just pull a 10' utility trailer for a mower and atv but my old mount while it was angled down still kept it too high off the ground in the front so picked up this just now. Truck is so much higher than my car was. :)

I use a 12v splitter that is on a 3 cord. The splitter sits in the glove box (closes with the wire) and i can run whatever i want into it and its one wire runs up to the dash 12v. Not idea. But when you have multiple 12v plugs you do what you need to. :)
