    2021 eco diesel gas mileage

Hope so, I just asked for it by the TSB number. My truck is getting warranty work done and they said they would do the software updates after Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Check engine light on new vehicle

Wow, bad luck. I would probably try to get an extended Max care warranty thrown in for taking ownership. 8 yr term. If you have 20' hemi, no reason to feel like you have to take it. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

So you want to tow a camper! Discussion thread.

Honestly, might want to look into getting into a 3/4 ton for your trailer size Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Enough truck?

I personally think it is borderline. Within limits, but will be tossed around in high winds. I am in the same boat. I have a ecodiesel and my rig is 26ft hitch to spare and around 6K lbs loaded, no water. If it is windy, I feel the sway even with a WDH. Wish I got a 3/4 ton. I can't comment on...

Great points, I was just thinking b/c of the payload being so low on the Ram 2500 you might have an issue with the tongue weight towing the 5th wheel.

No doubt, either way, beautiful truck. I am in the same boat. Might be following suit. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Totally agree, better tow vehicle. What do you mean gain 2K lbs of curb weight? gain it over what? The payload is the payload. Edit: ah, nevermind, you mean sturdier ride. Disregard

Sweet Ride, but the payload on the Ram 2500 is still in the low 2K range. If you are moving to a 5th wheel, should really upgrade to a 3500 duelly or another brand with a higher payload. Put your Vin in the ram towing page to know the payload: https://www.ramtrucks.com/towing/towing-guide.html

    Rebel reality or confused.

It is possible. Some Rams have light payloads. Mine is 1730. Go here and put in your Vin https://www.ramtrucks.com/towing/towing-guide.html Here is a recent weight for me. 3/4 tank with trailer and some gear. I still have some payload left, but it is tight. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Totally agree with this. My TT is 22ft living and 26 ft hitch to spare and it is the limit of my comfort level. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

I agree. I tow a 26Ft (hitch to spare) travel trailer with an r3 recurve WDH around 6K lbs. If it is windy, the sway is noticable. Not sure if a different hitch would make a difference or not. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Regen correlation with oil temperature

Is there any correlation between the oil temp and the heat needed to REGEN? I don't have the tools to read if the truck is passively REGENING, but when I tow, the oil temp is around 225 to 232.

Haven't noticed a change yet. I release the air in the bags and inflate them to 5 lbs PSI without a trailer and 50 lbs PSI with the trailer

Just installed some ride rite coil spring bags, thought i would share a before and after. It made quite a difference in the ride and squat. My tongue weight is around 700 lbs, TT is 26ft hitch to tire and 5,300 lbs. Using a Recurve r3 WDH
