TSB 18-008-20 throttle lag

Hope so, I just asked for it by the TSB number. My truck is getting warranty work done and they said they would do the software updates after

Wow, bad luck. I would probably try to get an extended Max care warranty thrown in for taking ownership. 8 yr term. If you have 20' hemi, no reason to feel like you have to take it.

I personally think it is borderline. Within limits, but will be tossed around in high winds.
I am in the same boat. I have a ecodiesel and my rig is 26ft hitch to spare and around 6K lbs loaded, no water. If it is windy, I feel the sway even with a WDH. Wish I got a 3/4 ton.
I can't comment on...
Totally agree, better tow vehicle. What do you mean gain 2K lbs of curb weight? gain it over what? The payload is the payload.
Edit: ah, nevermind, you mean sturdier ride. Disregard
Sweet Ride, but the payload on the Ram 2500 is still in the low 2K range. If you are moving to a 5th wheel, should really upgrade to a 3500 duelly or another brand with a higher payload. Put your Vin in the ram towing page to know the payload: https://www.ramtrucks.com/towing/towing-guide.html
It is possible. Some Rams have light payloads. Mine is 1730. Go here and put in your Vin https://www.ramtrucks.com/towing/towing-guide.html
Here is a recent weight for me. 3/4 tank with trailer and some gear. I still have some payload left, but it is tight.

I agree. I tow a 26Ft (hitch to spare) travel trailer with an r3 recurve WDH around 6K lbs. If it is windy, the sway is noticable. Not sure if a different hitch would make a difference or not.

Is there any correlation between the oil temp and the heat needed to REGEN? I don't have the tools to read if the truck is passively REGENING, but when I tow, the oil temp is around 225 to 232.
Ahh, just looked at those. No mine are ride rite bags that go in the springs so you different products all together.

Just installed some ride rite coil spring bags, thought i would share a before and after. It made quite a difference in the ride and squat. My tongue weight is around 700 lbs, TT is 26ft hitch to tire and 5,300 lbs. Using a Recurve r3 WDH
